A slogan for our cause?
The Media / Communication Team met on October 22. We discussed ideas for a slogan that would tie our efforts together under one banner. Two main ideas were proposed:

• "Choice in Education for All"
• "Ottawa Students Deserve Choices"

Another idea was to use "alternatives@myschool" as a supporting tag line on stickers and T-shirts, etc. The team thought that this would be popular with the kids.
Of the two main options, there was no solid consensus on which way to go. We have agreed that our main messages should focus on the importance of program choices that meet the needs of all students. As one team member pointed out, it's good to have variety. School groups and individuals are welcome to use any of these ideas. At the same time you are encouraged to get creative and choose the words that best express your feelings.

Churchill parents produce action package
In an effort to assist parents to understand the program review, its issues and how they can get involved, parents from Churchill Alternative School have developed an action package.
